Eco club is a forum that helps students to explore environmental concepts andactions beyond the curriculum. It plays an important role in creating environmental awarenessamongst the future generation.

  • To develop skills of observation, experimentation, survey, recording, analysis, reasoningneeded for conserving environment through activities.
  • Motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertakingplantation of trees.
  • Promote ethos of conservation of water by optimizing the use of water.
  • Sensitize the students to avoid the use of plastic bags, not to throw them in public placesas they choke drains and sewers, cause water logging and provide breeding ground formosquitoes.
  • Action based activities like tree plantation, cleanliness drives both within and outside thecollege campus.
  • Maintenance of public places like parks, gardens both within and outside the collegecampus.

  • To educate students about the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and its initiatives ,including the ISI mark, Hallmarking, and conformity assessments.
  • To introduce the significance of quality standards and their role in ensuring safety ,reliability, and sustainability.
  • To familiarize students with tools like the BIS website and the BIS CARE app for verifying product authenticity and understanding standards.

ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB

AQAR  Reports

An Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize them on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting. At ELC Activities and Games are designed to stimulate and motivate students provoking them to think and ask questions. Through ELC, Election Commission of India, aims at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters. The ELC members of the College will organize activities like Poster Making, Quiz, Slogan Writing, Drawing, Essay Writing competitions to create voting awareness among the students.

  • Engage the students actively in promoting awareness of ‘Right to Vote’.
  • Enable critical thinking on issues related to elections, rights, democracies/non-democracies electoral system and its processes.
  • Encourage student participation and mobility to aforementioned issues – in theory and practice.
  • Cooperate with the District Administration and the State Election Commission in conducting smooth elections in the state with the help of NSS Volunteers and NCC Cadets.
